Our Approach

The equestrian world is a remarkable and exclusive place. We are fortunate to be a part of it, whether we strive for competition or enjoy leisurely country horseback riding. Blue Star Equine believes that the health and well-being of a horse should be available to all riders since we all have this one thing in common: unconditional love for horses.

As both a Certified Equine Massage Therapist and Lawyer, I am in a unique position to care and protect your horse and your equine legal matters. In everything we do, we lead with passion, integrity and love.

Our Story

When I was a little girl, all I ever wished for was to have a horse. My parents could not afford one at first, but they saved for many years, my first horse finally came on my 12th birthday! The most beautiful Oldenburg bay mare I've ever seen named Azim. From that day on, I spent every day in the stables caring for her. I won several jumping competitions and was admitted to the prestigeous Montreal Hunt Club in 1998 as the youngest member ever admitted (yet!).

Later on, my desire to make lasting changes in the world led me to become a lawyer in Montreal. I never lost my love of horses, but living in the city meant I was spending less time in the stables and I missed the daily connection I had with horses in my youth. So I quit my job in the big city and joined the legal team at the MRC Brome-Missisquoi municipality, which brought me closer to Environmental law and my passion for horses.

Ten years later, I decided it was time to follow my passion… no matter what life throws at me because “horses give me the wings I lack”. I dedicated myself to studying equine anatomy and, in April 2019, I achieved my Equine Massage Therapy certification at the Animal Rehab Institute of Loxahatchee, FL.
